Knowing BLCCT

Bethel Life Care Charitable Trust (BLCCT) is a non-profit organization registered under the Trust Act, 1882, having Registration No. 2942 on 5th Sept. 2014. In the initial years BLCCT worked in Changlang district with unemployed youths helping them by imparting skill development training on IT, Electronics, Apparel and Textile domains and started technical institution (ANM Programme affiliated to INC & APNC) on Healthcare & Nursing for female candidates. Following year BLCCT expanded its base to work in disadvantaged locations of Namsai, Longding, Tirap and Anjaw districts.

BLCCT got empanelled to NABARD in 2021 and started working in livelihood promotion and income generation for SHG rural women. Following emergence of COVID-19, BLCCT shifted its focus to emergency and pandemic consequences trained 220 health workers on Covid-Frontline Worker (Basic Care Support) further they got engaged in primary and community health institutions. In recent times BLCCT intervened to promote microenterprises, start-up village entrepreneurs based on farm and non-farm sectors through capacity building, mentoring and handholding to SHGs formed under ArSRLM, Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh and ASRLM under Govt. of Assam.

In coming years BLCCT will focus on following thematic areas: -

Main Objective

To promote high quality, productive & creative education institution, coaching centers, vocational centers and skill development initiatives.

Empowering smallholder’s farmers through sustainable Agriculture Technology solutions.

To bring education within the reach of every person even in the remotest part of Arunachal Pradesh or other region.

To improve the educational, socio economic and livelihood status of rural marginalised communities by organizating various types of capacity building programmes, revive-promote culture and heritage, cluster development in farm and non farm sector for livelihood mapping and income generation.
